VISITING MEDICAL GROUP LLC (VMG) is a medical group practice of outstanding, hand-picked clinicians making more than 1,000 home visits a year in private residences, retirement communities, apartment buildings and independent and assisted facilities .Our passion is caring for frail, elderly complex patients, – particularly the highest-needs,, in their home wherever they reside.

VMG brings the best medical care into the most convenient, comfortable, and lowest cost place of service – our patient’s home environment. VMG's health care professionals work with patients who have mobility issues, many of whom are elderly. Our practice has transformed the “old-fashioned house call” into a 21st century phenomenon, by providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art care 6 days a week, as well as “sick visit” care with same-day or next-day appointments. We also have a number of trusted partners that work with our group who provide our primary care clinicians with consultations in palliative care, cardiology and intensive care medicine, podiatry, wound care, and pain management.

Thanks to our patient-centered philosophy of care, sophisticated technology, multi-dimensional delivery system, and close partnership with key resources in the communities we serve, we able to perform tests and procedures in our patient’s home more efficiently than most primary care physicians perform in their office. VMG accepts most medical insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. VMG also accepts private pay patients; a deposit is required and is payable by credit card, cash, check, or money order.

Physicians who work with VMG assume the role of your primary care provider and will work with or advise your other doctors as needed. VMG's health care professionals also work with the local hospitals and other major health care facilities in the areas where VMG has a presence, making it easy to maintain continuity of care. Most appointments can be made within 24 to 48 hours; physicians make visits Monday through Friday, and have appointments available from 8:30am until 4:30 pm. An on-call service is available should the need arise for after hours care.
